What is a Meal Plan?

A Meal Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more, at 9 locations across campus. Your Meal Plan includes Meal Swipes and SFA Dollars, conveniently loaded onto your student ID card. No need to carry additional cards or cash!

Meal Swipes

Most meal plans come with meal swipes that will offer you access to Union Dining, our new all-you-care-to-eat dining location in the union, and Treetops, our traditional all-you-care-to-eat dining hall on South Campus. Union Dining will be open for breakfast and lunch and Treetops will be open for dinner.

SFA Dollars

SFA Dollars may be used at any LaSalle University Dining location. Visit our location page for location information, including dining hall menus and hours of operation.

Gold Card Funds

The Gold Card Funds can be used at participating locations on La Salle University’s main campus. Locations include all La Salle University dining locations, the La Salle Book Store, La Salle Library, and local businesses (Explorer’s Den and Happy Fortune).

Exchange

Meal Exchange

We offer Meal Exchange Options at all of our Union Food Court locations and Starbucks. Download Grubhub and link your university account. This will allow you to view the menu from anywhere on campus, order and pick up quickly!

You can use one meal exchange for breakfast and lunch (shown below). That means you could stop by The Point in the morning, go to Grille Works for Lunch, then Treetops for dinner and use meal exchanges each time (as long as you have meal swipes available). Meal Exchange comes with all meal plans.

Meal Periods
Breakfast: 7am to 11am
Lunch: 11am to 4pm
Dinner: 4pm to 10pm

Managing Your Plan

There are three ways you can check your Meal Swipes and SFA Dollars balance:

  • Use check balance on this website.
  • On your receipt after a purchase at any dining location.
  • Visit the meal plan office in the Student Union Building, 1900 W. Olney Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19141, Open Monday-Friday 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. 

SFA Dollars running low? No problem! Add more at any time during the year at any dining location.

You can reload Gold Card on our website securely with a credit card of stop by the Dining Office in the ground floor of the Union Building in order to add more funds.
