Meal Plans

What Meal Plans do you offer?

La Salle Dining offers Unlimited, Weekly, and/or Block plans. The Explorer Unlimited plan allows for the most flexibility as students may come and go through meal zones and as many times in a day as they would like. Our Explorer 15 plan gives a student 15 meals each week of the semester to use throughout the week. Block plans are for students living off-campus and allow meals to be used throughout the entire semester.

What type of Meal Plan is recommended?

We have a variety of meal plans to meet your needs! Depending on where you live, and how often you are on campus, our recommendations may vary. Our Meal Plan page has the fastest way to check out our full list of offerings. However, don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance selecting the best plan for your experience at La Salle University!

How can I purchase a Meal Plan?

To Purchase/Change a Student Meal Plan:
*All purchases one week prior to the Fall Semester must be requested on BR. LUWIS through the La Salle Portal.
For all other purchases & changes please send an email to LaSalleDining@LaSalle.edu
Email Subject: "CampusDish Meal Plan Change"
Please include in the body of the email:
Your (student's) Name, ID#, & campus residence and which meal plan your student would like to request for the semester.

Are Meal Plans required?

All students that live in Traditional Dormitory Housing are required to have a Traditional Meal Plan. Students living in traditional housing will default to our Explorer Unlimited meal plan; however, traditional meal plans include both the Explorer Unlimited and the Explorer 15. Commuters and Apartment students are not required to have a meal plan but do have the option of selecting a Traditional or Voluntary Meal Plan.

What is Special Food Account (S.F.A.)?

S.F.A. dollars are accepted as payment at all on campus dining locations. They are loaded onto your Student ID card, so there is no need to carry around cash or another card! S.F.A. comes with the purchase of a meal plan and can be “Reloaded” if you run out before the end of the semester. S.F.A. Reload can be as easy as sending us an email or visiting us on the ground floor of the Student Union Building.

How do I get Declining Balance?

What if I want to change my Meal Plan?

All changes to meal plans must be submitted in writing (or email, to LaSalleDining@lasalle.edu) by End of Business on the second Friday of the semester.

How do I get into the dining locations once I have purchased my Meal Plan?

Within 24 hours, your Student ID card will be activated with your meal plan. Present your card to the cashier in the dining hall, and you are all set!

Can I carry meals over to the next semester?

All meals expire at the end of each semester. 

Can I treat a friend to a meal?

Any of the Traditional Meal Plans, students receive 3 guest entries per semester.

What do I do when my Declining Balance gets low?

You can reload your Special Food Account at any time! Special Food Account can be purchased by clicking here, or by visiting us on campus at in the Dining Services Office .

Where is the Meal Plan Office Located?

On the Ground Floor of the Student Union Building.

Why do I have to create an account in order to check out?

For you, and us, to be able to best track orders, and to be able to contact you in case of a question regarding your order we ask that you create a CampusDish account.

How do I create an account?

Click the "Login" button, and then on the login page click the "create a new account" link.

How do I get a Promotional Code?

Unfortunately, we are not currently offering Promotional Codes. We may offer Promotional Codes in the future, so please check back periodically.

How do I use the Menu?

We have utilities designed to help your health. Use the Meal Calculator Box to quickly relate the nutritional information of two or more items. The Meal Calculator can populate the nutritional value of your meal. Use our quick nutritional icons to identify food with special preparation or contents at a glance.

What are AFO/FPO/DPO addresses?

APO and FPO addresses allow the postal service to efficiently deliver mail to active duty military members serving overseas. When the mail arrives at the APO or FPO, the staff will send the mail onto the proper division of the military to which the addressee belongs. The division then delivers the mail to the individual. 

How do I increase password security?

Your password should be at least 8 characters that include upper and lower case characters, numbers, and symbols. You should always use a unique password for each website you use; that way, if one account gets compromised, the rest are safe. Other ways to ensure the security of your password include:

    • If passwords must be written down on a piece of paper, store the paper in  a secure place and destroy it when it is no longer needed.

    • Never share passwords with anyone.

    • Change passwords immediately if they may have been compromised.

    • Be careful about where passwords are saved on computers. Some dialog boxes present an option to save or remember a password. Selecting this option poses a potential security threat.

How do I use variants?

Have your food your way! Choose from our variant options to customize your meal exactly how you want it. Please note any charges that might be associated with adding additional variants to your meal.

What is a CVV?

The Card Validation Code is a 3 digit number set that uniquely identifies your credit card.

Visa/Mastercard and Discover Users

Flip your card over and look at the signature box. You should see either the entire 16-digit credit card number or just the last four digits followed by a special 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is your Card Security Code.

American Express Credit Card Users
Look for the 4-digit code printed on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main credit card number. This 4-digit code is your Card Identification Number (CID). The CID is the four-digit code printed just above the Account Number.

Why are my products split into separate orders and why does this happen?
